如果申请人不在北领地，并且到现在还没有获发移民北领地的文件号，当政府则不会处理该申请。
身处北领地的申请人及所有创业投资计划申请人则不会受这次暂停影响。

The Northern Territory Department of Trade Business and Innovation has announced that it has temporarily suspended applications for Northern Territory nomination for Subclass 489 and Subclass 190, visas where the applicants are not in the Northern Territory, ie overseas until 1 July 2017.
Where applicants are not in the Northern Territory and a Migration NT file number has not been issued, the application will not be processed.
Applicants in the Northern Territory and all Business Innovation and Investment Program applicants are unaffected by the suspension.
